Tom Hammond

For the past 30 years, Tom Hammond has managed successful political fundraising operations for Republican congressional, senatorial, and gubernatorial campaigns throughout the country. Since 1992,Tom has managed victorious comprehensive fundraising programs for incumbent, open-seat, and challenger candidates. These programs include PAC fundraising programs, direct mail solicitation, special events planning and management, major donor clubs and overall campaign finance management. Tom graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in marketing. After a successful career on Wall Street, Tom transitioned to campaign fundraising. His many years of fundraising success, combined with an aggressive team effort consistently produce successful fundraising programs across the country.

Kathy N. Hammond

Kathy began her career in political fundraising nearly 30 years ago, working as the Fundraising Director for the Ted Blanton for Congress Campaign in NC-08, raising the highest amount of money that district had ever seen up to that point in 1988. She then joined the NRCC as a fundraising field representative, raising money for targeted campaigns around the country. After the ’90 election cycle, Kathy turned her fundraising efforts to the non-profit world as the Fundraising Director for the National Council on the Aging. Kathy created two new fundraising events for NCOA – First, an Annual Congressional Tennis Tournament, which incorporated Members of the House and Senate with lobbyists in a bi-partisan tennis match to raise funds. Second, a bi-partisan Roundtable Discussion with Industry leaders in targeted areas, sponsored by Major Corporations. Kathy also worked as a Communications Director for the Telecommunications Industry Association. While at TIA, Kathy was responsible for writing press releases; writing and editing weekly and monthly News Reports for the membership; and working closely with the government relations department in matters pertaining to media relations.

Kristen Thompson

Prior to joining Hammond and Associates, Kristen Thompson served as Chief of Staff for Republican Congressman John Shadegg of Arizona. She has extensive experience in legislative affairs and governmental relations. Kristen works on direct marketing and donation solicitation for Hammond Group.

Nicholas Simonelli

Nicholas Simonelli joined Hammond Group in 2016 as an intern for The Washington Center academic program. His political experience includes an internship in the district office of Democratic Congressman Frank Pallone. There, he completed constituent correspondence and staffed events for the the Congressman. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Monmouth University. He is the co-founder of Thumbprint, a social networking mobile application.
